In the bustling city of Jerusalem resides Haim-Aaron, a brilliant ultra-orthodox religious scholar admired for his exceptional talents and unwavering dedication. One fateful evening, after a rigorous self-imposed fast, Haim-Aaron's body succumbs to exhaustion, leading to a sudden loss of consciousness. Despite the paramedics declaring him deceased, his father refuses to accept this grim fate and takes charge of resuscitating his son. Miraculously, against all odds, Haim-Aaron is brought back from the brink of death. However, post-revival, he finds himself grappling with a profound disinterest in his scholarly pursuits. A newfound physical awareness overwhelms him, prompting him to believe that this may be a test from a higher power. Contemplating whether to deviate from his usual path, Haim-Aaron embarks on a soul-searching journey to rekindle his faith. While the Hebrew translation of the title signifies "Rectify," the English-speaking world knows this thought-provoking film as Tikkun.
