Story :

Set against the backdrop of 1935 rural Texas, Edna Spaulding finds herself grappling with the challenges of single motherhood after the loss of her husband. With two young children to care for, a farm to manage, and dwindling finances, Edna's plate is already full. However, the looming threat of a destructive tornado and the ominous shadow of the Ku Klux Klan only add to her burdens.
